San Antonio is gearing up to welcome a new dual-language and STEM-focused middle school on the South Side.
San Antonio Independent School District announced Thursday, July 1, plans to open the new Hot Wells Middle School in the current space of Ball Intermediate Academy at 400 Hot Wells Boulevard.
It will be the twelfth dual-language school in the SAISD system.
According to Ryan Loyd, Assistant Director of Communications at SAISD, Hot Wells will open on August 9, the same day students in the district head back for fall classes.
