Superintendent Rich Drolet, on behalf of the Seekonk Public Schools’ District Leadership Team, School Committee and the Aitken Expansion Building Committee, is pleased to share a virtual tour of Aitken Elementary School’s new building expansion.
Aitken Elementary School’s newly-completed expansion boasts a new, state-of-the-art wing with a 10-classroom and seven-bathroom addition. The wing also features a new preschool playground outside and a makerspace as one of the ten classrooms inside.
“I would like to thank the members of the Aitken Expansion Building Committee, the Seekonk School Committee, Seekonk Educators Association and the Town of Seekonk Board of Selectmen for their conscientious support in bringing this project to fruition,” Superintendent Drolet said. “Without all of their dedication and tireless efforts, this project wouldn’t have been possible.”
