For community members coming to the Loveland Public Library for more than just books, Erik Rock is the person to see.
Rock, who now serves as technology services assistant manager, was the first technology librarian to work at the Loveland Public Library. Now, he serves the community’s technology needs and helps foster creativity for those without expensive equipment.
Rock and a few other technology librarians run and operate the makerspace, a room on the second floor of the library with several 3D printers, a carving mill, a 2D art digitizer and more. For anyone with a library card, the space is completely free; users only have to pay for materials used.
