
The Hutchinson Public Library announced it is expanding its operating hours, including reopening its Maker’s Space in the basement, after more than a year of altered schedules due to the pandemic.
The library, at 901 N. Main, is now open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
It will remain closed on Sunday for now.
Even with the additional hours, the library will continue its free pick-up service at the back door. Go to https://www.hutchpl.org/browse-borrow/library-pick-up-service for more information.
Makerspace hours are Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Makerspace is a place that provides new opportunities to the community by making tools, materials and special equipment, with individuals skilled at operating the equipment available to assist.
