Celebrating its 30th year, the Governor’s Art Show & Sale will return to Loveland from May 22 to June 27, showcasing sculpture, mixed media, oil, pastel, watercolor and acrylic paintings from 60 of the state’s best-known fine artists.
Four works from each artist will be displayed in-person at Loveland Museum, and the majority will be one-of-a-kind and available for purchase both at the museum and online.
An opening night gala will be held May 21 for sponsors and patrons. A live “plein air” painting festival and auction will also take place June 5, according to the show’s website, where more than 40 artists will paint outdoors in downtown Loveland and at the River’s Edge Natural Area from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Then, in downtown Loveland’s Foundry Plaza, there will be live entertainment at 3-4 p.m. and a live art auction at 4-5 p.m.
