The Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley is now open in its new location

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) -The Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley is now open in its new home in the Lake Walk area of Bryan.

The museum is located at 4114 Lake Atlas Drive in Bryan, and its goal is to engage children through S.T.E.A.M activities. S.T.E.A.M. stands for, science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

“Our focus here is to innovate, create, and play,” said Ashley Kortis, Executive Director of The Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley. “We want kids and their families to experience each of those things in different areas of our museum.”

According to Kortis, the new space features lots of learning opportunities and exhibits that have benefits for children of various ages.

  • Main Street
    • On Main Street, Bryan, Texas, children can learn about professions and role-play. Main Street is also an interactive space that has areas that mimics parts of B/CS.
  • Innovation Station
