Evergreen Day School has begun construction on a new, COVID-19 compliant school building on the Sancta Maria grounds where the school currently resides.
EDS signed a 30-year lease with Sancta Maria for their former convent, a stand alone building overlooking Fresh Pond golf course on Concord Avenue. The new school is scheduled to open for the 2021-22 school year and will be 100% COVID-19 compliant.
The new school will offer larger classrooms with operable windows, dedicated bathrooms and handwashing stations; a new dedicated HVAC system; a brand new, private outdoor playground; a maker space for arts and crafts; and a motor room and event space.
