From knowledgeable research specialists to media production equipment, the University of Pittsburgh Library System (ULS) has plenty to explore beyond its collection of 7 million print and electronic books, journals, databases and archival materials.
Students, faculty and staff can borrow supplies and equipment — including laptops, adapters, charging kits, graphic calculators, noise-isolating headphones and more — from libraries across Pitt’s campuses. Support media like projectors and conference call stations are also available from the Media Equipment Lending Program at Hillman Library.
The Hillman Equipment Collection is also home to audio and video production gear, so projects like recording a podcast or achieving the perfect lighting for a short film are within reach.
