OctoPrint and 3DPrinterOS partner to ease 3D printer integration » 3dpbm

Two of the first-ever software systems created to provide some level of MES for 3D printers are joining forces: 3D Control Systems, the parent company of 3DPrinterOS, a premium advanced manufacturing software solutions provider, is named OctoPrint corporate sponsor process integrator with 3DPrinterOS platform.

As the access to 3D printing continues to expand, more and more users are bringing 3D printers into their homes and businesses. At the same time, more and more companies are launching new 3D printers. With the bulk of these devices based on material extrusion technology, there should be more solutions available but effectively integrating 3D printers and build software has proven challenging and costly.
