Brampton residents with a curious mind can catch a glimpse at museum archives, take a backstage tour, or learn about historic locations in the city when Doors Open Ontario returns next month.
First launched in 2002, Doors Open is a province-wide program that gives members of the public free and open access to explore municipal buildings and heritage properties all across Ontario.
The City of Brampton and Region of Peel are getting in on the action again this year, giving residents behind-the-scenes access to seven locations including the Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA), the new Chinguacousy Library branch, the Lorne Scots Regimental Museum among others.
Doors Open 2023 will run from 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Sept. 9. Here are all the locations across Brampton you can explore:
