One of Beaver County’s few remaining independent pharmacies closed in August after 16 years in business.
Beaver Health Mart along Third Street in downtown Beaver is hosting a liquidation sale from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday after closing up shop weeks prior. Items for sale include medical equipment like canes and rolling walkers, office supplies, shelving, wound care products and COVID-19 tests and masks.
Customers in August were told their prescriptions would transfer to Walgreens in Rochester; anyone wishing to move to another pharmacy should contact Walgreens.
Owner and pharmacist Adrienne Cervone purchased Beaver Health Mart in 2007. It’s not yet clear what’s next for the space.
“It has been a pleasure being dedicated to a healthy Beaver,” staff said on Facebook.
