It’s official— Penn State Brandywine LaunchBox will soon expand into a new makerspace designed to inspire student and community innovation and entrepreneurship.
Located in Room 105 of the Main Building, the Brandywine LaunchBox is set to debut with a ribbon-cutting ceremony as soon as the fall semester of 2025. The space will serve as both a startup accelerator and a makerspace, offering students access to high-end technology, collaborative work areas, and mentorship from faculty and staff.
Tony Mattei, director of entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital marketing, has led the project since its inception.
